It is the longest-running Black and Ethnic minority pageant in the UK.
We provide a platform for beautiful, talented, and intelligent young women of Ghanaian descent.
Miss Ghana UK is one of the prestigious events on the UK social calendar.
We use the event to actively promote Ghana by highlighting the rich Ghanaian Culture, Tradition, and Tourism, it is also the perfect event for networking.
Through the Miss Ghana UK Beauty Pageant, we empower young women to work at their craft and excel at their talents; be it sports, science, Creative writing, music, creative arts, traveling, or languages; we give the ladies the tools to enjoy the process of enhancing and acquiring new skills.
During the journey, the ladies go through several processes and each individual is guaranteed to gain life skills by the end of their journey. we mentor participants to become well-rounded self-confident young women with leadership skills and poise – in the nutshell, everything they’ll need to function with excellence as modern women in today’s world.
By participating in miss Ghana UK our contestants are expected to work on one of MGUKF(www.mgukfoundation.co.uk) initiatives. The winner is the face of the pageant and will lead on MGUK Foundation initiatives with support from runners-up, The contestants are required to organise a fundraising event during their journey to raise funds towards the MGUK Foundation UK initiatives and the winner is required to raise funds and arrange sponsorship gifts to donate to our various charities in Ghana.
More importantly, these young women become responsible role models for the youth in the community.
Our young ladies learn to serve their communities by becoming ambassadors for important social issues such as Mental Health and Youth Violence; where they help raise awareness and volunteer their time to garner donations to help make a difference.
Our pageant produces ambitious and intelligent women with inner strength and bags of self-esteem who enjoy learning new skills and relish competition, they are ready to face the world regardless of what’s thrown at them.
Miss Ghana UK Beauty Pageant takes place every year, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 and 2021 shows have been canceled, we are currently planning an exciting and vibrant show for 2022.
